Well, it’s happening – there’s too much stuff going on in the pickleball world, so we’re going to release newsletters bi-weekly. Let’s get into it!
I celebrated my 28th birthday last week! I appreciate everybody that reached out to wish me a happy birthday! I was able to celebrate with Jenny, Murray, and my teammates on the Squeeze!
The following day was group play of Major League Pickleball. We took down the Texas Ranchers 3-1 and the Chicago Slice 3-2. On Saturday, we defeated the Arizona Drive 4-0 to secure the #1 seed in the playoffs.
On Sunday we played the Chicago Slice again and defeated them 3-0. It was a very, very quick turnaround for the final, which was a rematch against the D.C. Pickleball Club. Unfortunately we couldn’t pull off another epic comeback, and we lost in a close 3-0 match.
Win or lose, Major League Pickleball is always incredible. The team format allows for such interesting matchups and unmatched energy. There’s some doubt about the third and final MLP event of the year, unfortunately, but we hope that we get another shot at the DC Pickleball Club!

It’s been a big month for everybody, but especially Murray! Murray was able to join the family at Major League Pickleball where he cheered on his dad. He earned a certificate of bravery from the vet for being a very good boy during his teeth cleaning, and he’s celebrating his half birthday soon. Big month for Murray man!
