So, back to pickleball…we won Major League Pickleball! Team BLQK, consisting of myself, Parris Todd, Irina Tereschenko, and Rafa Hewett won the second MLP tournament. The crowd at Dreamland in Dripping Springs, Texas was unreal, and the energy is unmatched in pickleball. Team BLQK split the largest purse in pickleball history 😁, and the best part is, we get to try it again in Newport Beach in August and Columbus in October!

I’m super excited to announce a new partnership 🤝 with Yobow, a manufacturer of the most compact massage pistol ever. I’m constantly on the go ✈️, and my Yobow fits easily in my bag. When a purchase is made, you choose one of 15 non-profit partners to give a portion of the sale to. My massage pistol is an important part of my warmup routine, and so are my Yobow bands! Look forward to a lot of cool stuff coming from the Yobow team. It’s Good To Be Kneaded!

Come and experience why the APP Academy clinics are selling out at each location! Our clinics are divided by distinct skill levels, we limit our student to teacher ratio, and every participant is given individualized attention and personal feedback from the top pros in the business.

“The APP Academy experience was excellent! It had the right breakdown of instruction, interesting drills and playing time, and the 2 instructors to 12 students ratio gave us the chance to get individual feedback from Zane and Daniel, who are both excellent instructors. I’ve been to several clinics that all taught the same topics, but Zane included some new ones that have already helped improve my game. His fun personality, and getting the chance to try to return one of his famous serves were added bonuses!  I would highly recommend attending one of his clinics!” – Beth Allsteadt, El Segundo Clinic Participant

Registration is now open for these upcoming APP Academy clinics ⤵️

I’ve always thought it difficult to “write about yourself” as I’ve been nicely asked to do here more than once. Having shifted/punted/ignored each time before, I couldn’t escape it this time. So, in an effort to give those reading something of value I figure I could go for humor (Zane-esk ) or for a snoozer-words that will put anyone right to sleep. I chose the former and am hopeful we have the makings of a worthwhile read-I am Zane’s agent. I came to this role after a somewhat lengthy vetting process ( by Zane and team of course! ) and I couldn’t be happier I made it through….After too many years in the courtroom; using the skills learned over 20 years of practice to help Zane in his Pickleball/business ventures has been tremendous. Having a front row seat with one of the best players in the world (and best people) is what I always wanted for the second half of my career. With midwestern roots, like Zane, this has been a perfect fit – and I am extremely excited about what’s to come. Hopefully, those reading have had an opportunity to come out to an event and watch Zane play. It’s a great experience! And, when you’re there, if you see me, please say hello! I’ll look forward to meeting you all soon.
