Watch the video above here! We’ve entered the craziest part of the entire year. After my silver medal in Vegas, Jenny and I took a one-day retreat to our favorite staycation spot: Sage Hill Inn and Spa. We didn’t have too much time there because soon afterwards I was back on the road playing in Atlanta!
While in Atlanta, I was able to meet up with Sam from Sports Sight. Sam is my vision coach, and I’ve noticed a lot of improvement in my depth perception since working with him. He’s able to do great work virtually (I am a virtual client of his), so if improving your vision sounds interesting to you, shoot us an email through the contact form, and we will get you connected with Sam!
The tournament didn’t go so well, unfortunately. I returned back to singles where I lost to Naveen Beasly in 3 games, Viv Glozman and I won a round before falling to Andrei and Megan (I swear I play them every week), and Rafa and I lost to Todd Fought and CJ Klinger. Since I had some extra time, I was able to have some fun meetings! I visited Pickle and Social and connected with Roy from Pickle for Pups.
Next up is Major League Pickleball New York City!
The PPA launched a new provisional serve rule in Atlanta last week. Here’s my take on the rule, plus a recap of what went down in at the Atlanta Open.

I’m proud to support Stop Alzheimer’s Now (SAN), a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating Alzheimer’s Disease. SAN is run by people dedicated to this cause who generously donate their time, so 100% of donations go to research and awareness initiatives. Since 2013, SAN has raised nearly $500,000 for Alzheimer’s Research.
