Happy Fourth of July!
June was a relatively low-key month with only one tournament on the calendar, but those of you who know me know that I don’t sit still particularly well…I started the month off by heading to Albuquerque, New Mexico for some clinics. I had never been to New Mexico before, and I have to say that I enjoyed it! Thanks to Jeremy and Kamryn for making it happen!
The following weekend I went to Steamboat Springs, CO to run some clinics, and we debuted “Chainsaw for Charity“, benefiting Stop Alzheimer’s Now. More on that down below!
Next up was Major League Pickleball in San Clemente, CA! We were hoping that the change from the Frisco Clean Cause to the Frisco Pandas would provide the spark we needed to have a better result…but we were wrong, haha . While it may be an understatement to say that the team struggled, MLP is still such an incredible event to be a part of and I have to shout out everybody that cheered us on (including my fiance Jenny who was able to make the trip!).
It wouldn’t be June without a trip to Oshkosh, WI to check out the Miss Wisconsin Competition. Jenny and I finished the month with another trip to Milwaukee for the wedding of our high school friends, Zach and Kierstyn. Can you believe that this was a “relaxing” month?!
