It was a great couple of weeks for me, but a rough couple of weeks for Arlo in the cone. I was able to head to F1 in Austin to showcase Pickleball, and it was a ton of fun. I’ve become a casual F1 fan since watching Drive to Survive. It’s very similar to pickleball in a way in that the sport looks much faster in person than it does on TV!
After a few precious days at home, I headed to Miami for the final regular season MLP event of the year. Heading into the weekend, we needed to perform very well to take the #1 seed into the playoffs, and we did just that, going undefeated. The seed earns us a bye to the MLP finals in Orlando 11/22 – 11/24. Check out the full weekend recap down below.
The bye was a great birthday present because it meant that I got to spend my birthday weekend in Austin! I turned 29 years old on November 2nd! We went to a Haunted House for Halloween, Six Flags for my birthday, and had a small dinner at my favorite spot in Austin: Yamas!

Thanks for watching, critiquing and all the commentary! I see them and I appreciate all your ideas, keep ’em coming!

Last week Pickle & Social’s Chris Wolfe and I did an Instagram Live discussing Major League Pickleball and the current team standings and playoff picture. You can check it out here if you missed it.

I’m proud to support Stop Alzheimer’s Now (SAN), a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating Alzheimer’s Disease. SAN is run by people dedicated to this cause who generously donate their time, so 100% of donations go to research and awareness initiatives. Since 2013, SAN has raised nearly $500,000 for Alzheimer’s Research.
